Jennifer specializes in counseling individuals and couples and families of all genders and sexual orientations, adults only.

Jennifer has several years experience providing counseling with couples and families of various constellations. She also has experience working with LGBTQ+ clients and kink couples. Jennifer also has extensive experience with couples and families involving substance abuse. She is comfortable working with clients of all relationship preferences.

 

Professional Background

Jennifer’s experience includes working for Fairfax County as a treatment program coordinator. Her experience also includes working with high-risk clients for Loudoun County as a Drug Court clinician, working with clients and groups in need of substance abuse disorder treatment and clients with co-occurring disorders. Jennifer also provided trauma-informed individual, couples and family therapy, using multiple Family Therapy models and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Jennifer received her BS in Psychology in 2015 from Wingate University.

She received her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy in 2017 from Converse College where she also worked as a graduate level therapist at Emerge Family Therapy and Training Clinic in 2016 and 2017.

Jennifer is a Marriage and Family Therapist, Counseling Resident at Across Counseling, supervisor Stefani Whetzel, LMFT-S, LPC.
